Winter Warmth Donation Drive

Each December, Taren Test Shop partners with San Diego United Way to host our Winter Warmth Donation Drive. We chose Father Joe's Villages as our donation site. In 2023, we collected over 350 coats to donate! These garments helped families stay warm during the coldest months and supported over 150 individuals experiencing homelessness. At most shelters, warm clothing is among the most requested items. We’re proud to help our community prepare for winter with dignity and care.

Hearts for Homeless Youth Night

In Southern California, hundreds of teens face homelessness each year. Rady Children's Hospital Home2Stay program helps them recover and find safe, permanent homes. Our team has volunteered monthly since 2021, organizing care kits and hosting dinner nights to remind these young people they’re not alone. Volunteers stay with each child until they’re placed in a loving environment with hope for a positive future. Can’t attend? Click here to make a donation.

Year-Round Support: Taren Test Shop proudly supports Feeding San Diego through monthly food and fund donations. Every year, we host a customer-appreciation day where 100% of service proceeds go directly to the food bank. It represents what giving should be about and brings us closer as a community. As a local business that's been here since 1980, we believe strong neighborhoods start with mutual support and compassion.
