Winter Warmth Drive

Each December, Taren Test Shop partners with San Diego Family Services to support families experiencing homelessness during the colder months. We chose Interfaith Shelter Network as our donation site. In 2023, we collected over 350 coats to donate! These simple acts of kindness helped keep vulnerable children and adults warm throughout the season. At most shelters, winter coats are among the most requested items. We’re proud to help our community prepare for winter with warmth and dignity.

Hearts for Kids Toy & Tool Giveaway

In Southern California, hundreds of foster children face emotional and financial hardship each year. Together with KidsPlus San Diego, we host an annual Toy & Tool Drive to inspire confidence and creativity in children transitioning into new homes. Volunteers from our team personally wrap gifts and include handwritten notes of encouragement. Each child receives both a toy and a beginner’s tool kit to foster self-reliance. Can’t attend? Year-Round Support: Taren Test Shop proudly supports Meals on Wheels San Diego through monthly meal funding. Every year, we sponsor over 200 nutritious meals delivered to homebound seniors. It represents what community should be about and brings us closer as a team and a neighborhood. We’re committed to fighting hunger in our backyard. Through our ongoing partnership with the San Diego Food Bank, Taren Test Shop hosts quarterly food drives. Last year, we collected over 1,200 pounds of non-perishables - enough to provide over 1,000 meals for families in need.
